  1. Take a bus from Gongabu Bus Park, Kathmandu, to Nepalgunj. Probably you will get off at Kohalpur because it’s a major stop before Nepalgunj.
  2. It is 502 kilometers away from Gongabu Bus Park, Kathmandu, to Kohalpur (near Nepalgunj).
  3. It takes 12-14 hours; it depends on road conditions and traffic. (via Mahendra Hwy/AH2/H01)

Step 2

 

  1. From Kohalpur, take a bus to Ambassa. It’s a distance of 63.5 km, and it takes around 1.30 hr to reach. (via Mahendra Hwy/AH2/H01)
  2. The bus ticket price is approximately NPR 2,000 to 3,500. It depends on the bus company. (from Kathmandu to Thakurdwara or Ambassa)
  3. And after reaching Ambassa, you should take a local jeep to the park or a nearby area like the Thakurdwara. It takes 30 minutes to reach.

  1. Take a flight from TU Airport in Kathmandu to Nepalgunj.
  2. To reach Nepalgunj, a flight takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour
  3. You can book tickets online or through travel agencies.
  4. Available Airlines: Nepal Airlines, Buddha Air, Shree Airlines,
  5. The one-way ticket price is approximately NPR 15,000 to NPR 18,000

  1. And from Nepalgunj, you can take a direct taxi to the park or nearby areas or take a bus to Thakurdwara. It is the nearest area to this park.
